We design and manufacture
custom-made road bikes in
Cycling is more than transportation or competition: it’s thrill and adventure, meditation and inner peace, lifestyle and solution to the environmental crisis. Cycling is a lifelong journey to become one with yourself and the world that surrounds you. And it begins with a bicycle: your bicycle—the only one you’ll ever need, and the only one we’ll ever build.
At NOPE! cycles, we value craftsmanship, encourage minimalism and believe that change starts locally. We dream of a world in which small, independent frame builders are the backbone of local road cycling communities. That's why we brought back the art of bespoke frame building to our hometown of Stockholm—and why we say NOPE! to riding generic bikes.
There are bicycles and there are bicycles - we make the latter
Our bikes come in one size only: yours. That's why each bike build starts with a bike fit. Afterwards, we help you choose the best tubing options and finishing kit for your preferred style of riding. Finally, no matter if you're looking for an understated race machine or you want to turn heads at your next club ride, we make sure your bike looks the part by designing a custom paint job.
Each frame is built by hand in our workshop in Stockholm. We use bicycle-specific steel tubes and join them by TIG welding. This does not only make for beautiful bikes, but also gives us the freedom to make each frame geometry unique.
We're engineers by day, designers by night, cyclists at heart
To me, there's nothing more meditative than riding my bike. It's a truly personal and often solitary experience, no matter if I'm cycling just by myself or in a large group. Cycling allows me to connect with the world around me, and I started building bicycles because I wanted to ride a bike that I feel deeply connected with—and because I'm a mechanical engineer who loves to build stuff.
